saturday 3 october

a small girl
in a lavender jacket
hopping on poems

After attending the 2nd Annual NW Tea Festival (if you ever get offered Li Shan (Pear Mountain) oolong, do NOT turn it down!), I wandered through the Poem Stones at Seattle Center. Rubbed a piece of an e.e. cummings one to start this sketch:

i thank you God for most this amazing
day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes...

I love the concept of incorporating the rubbing (especially good selection of words!) into your sketch. Embarrassed to say, I don't know where the 'poem stones' are.
