A small rebellion: today's erasure poem is from the Wikipedia entry for Bastille Day, rather than the exceedingly dreary & diseased OED word of the day: Osler.
And a big thank you to my little brother for the sunflowers!!

Dear Susan,
Your everyday poem and painting is truly beautiful and eye pleasing. From you, I learn lots about colors, contrast, composition and...cherishing words!!
Kind regards,
Sadami
Thanks, Sadami. That's really nice to hear!
Hiya -- finally looking at several weeks' worth. What fun! I particularly like this one, because it's different. I have always liked the abstraction of a close-up. Colors are great too. The up-turned petals on the left flower are effective. Et alors, le français. :-)
Merci bien! Yeah, I agree about the close up and it being about the shapes. Once I'd published this one, the ones around it seemed weak. :(
