Nice
Poetical
hospitable
nice.
Time drifted past
with impudent ease
. . . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is the VERB 'nutmeg.'

balm
A Masterpiece
of Balm …
love tenderly,
with out Precautions
. . . . . . . .
"Heart-strings" is the word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary from those romantic lads in Oxford.
I love finding out that 500 years ago heart-strings were believed to be an actual part of our anatomy!

with one eye
with one eye
on the Daily
Comedies & Tragedies
Take A Life & examine it
and so be in a position
to thwart a bad day
this means trying harder
no one
seems to have offered
a Golden Age
. . . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is 'scout.'

wait civilly
Effective post —
I take it to be a Skill to wait civilly
which is a bore,
Time duly passed
a prayer,
a little hit or miss
I am still
burning with desire
to know the cause,
But 'tis a special grace
to enjoy mercy
. . . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is 'effectual,' which is delightfully ironic. This is only about the third time I've picked a 'story' and forced the text into it, but had to commemorate the arrival today of this postcard (Kerala backwaters, south India), which I mailed to myself in Mumbai on 27 november.

patience
Patience
There blew in that soft wind
Sweet Paradise
and the warblers of spring,
returning after their tedious absence
revive us;
full of Poems
. . . . . . . .

travel
culture and people;
Travel is the sine qua non
of pleasure
. . . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is ‘Maoritanga.’ It didn’t take long to figure out where the Oxford lads were going with this one: happy Waitangi Day to the kiwis!

honor life
to honor life
celebrate Now
(with love)
I will be there,
and keep more alive to grace,
than to any sense of Past
There is not a woman in all the world
but would prefer Flowers
Here stands My invitation to Life
. . . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is 'nuptial.'
Thank you for MY flowers, little brother :)

consequences are
when desires
overcome
reason and habits

a humble prayer
a humble prayer
was made for all
in this Pickle
gently asking
for the truth
as a basis for belief
Our Author expects
it should be admitted
without any proof.
how absurd this is
for Tackling Inner problems
on the surface
. . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem | commentary is 'postulation.'
