rare
a bird's nest
By My Window about
To collect eggs
. . . . . . .
The OED word of the day for the erasure poem |commetary is 'oologize,' which a Mr. Lowell used twice in one book in 1870. It means to take eggs (from a bird's nest).
It's kind of a cool neologism by Mr. L and with a crow's nest straight across from my window that I'm watching, I quite enjoyed it.
The collage (in process) is an homage to an Atget photo of Place St.-Andre-des-Arts about the time that Picasso and Braque decided to glue paper to a painting for the first time.
