Boy, you leave town for a couple of weeks and you come back to find the Parks Dept. has planted palms at Alki Beach. Old timers may recall the business card of the now defunct Boca restaurant, with a Caribbean beach photoshopped in front of the Olympic Mountains. Once again, life imitates art.
