The OED word of the day for the erasure poem|commentary is the verb 'job.' My favorite definition (both rare and obsolete) is: to job faces. That meant to kiss!
It's hard to imagine Lucy in Peanuts screaming: "Auugh! I've been jobbed face by a dog! I have dog germs! Get some hot water! Get some disinfectant! Get some iodine!"
